Cleani-Stump The Antiseptic Wipe has been developed in collaboration with the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, Karolinska Hospital, Stockholm.

Cleani-Stump is to be used two times a day or as required. It is effective against bacteria, TB, some viruses, and fungi.

Cleani-Stump was developed for use on the sensitive skin of residual limbs. Wearing prosthetic sockets (or tight fitting orthoses) increases the risk of infection by allowing the build up of normal skin bacteria. Cleani-Stump contains gentle but effective antiseptics which reduce the number of bacteria and some viruses on the skin for up to sixteen hours. Studies show that the antiseptic properties of Cleani-Stump are effective on normal skin as well as stump skin and also disinfect the inside of sockets. Used daily, once in the morning and again after removal of the prosthesis, Cleani-Stump will help maintain optimal skin health and socket hygiene.

In addition to the anti-bacterial ingredients found in Cleani-Stump, a special emollient has been added to soothe and protect skin, helping to prevent breakdown in sensitive areas.
